Project Overview

Jalin is a premium fragrance brand under SVL Company, specializing in professional scenting services for spaces through modern diffusion systems. In addition to scent solutions, Jalin also offers fragrance-related products such as incense, scented candles, and perfumes, all developed through a carefully researched R&D process.

This project involved a complete redesign of Jalin's corporate website to elevate its brand positioning, communicate its service ecosystem clearly, and present the brand with an international, high-end image.

Role

Lead Designer

I was the primary designer responsible for the entire website design, from layout structure to all visual assets. I worked directly with company leadership to receive design direction, collaborated closely with the marketing team to align content and messaging, and coordinated with an external development team to ensure the design, interactions, and animations were accurately implemented.

Project Background

Before the redesign, Jalin's website was overly simple and lacked a strong brand identity. Apart from the logo, the visual language did not reflect the brand's premium positioning, nor did it convey trust, professionalism, or a clear differentiation in the fragrance industry.

As Jalin aimed to expand beyond the domestic market and be recognized by international fragrance partners, the website needed to represent the brand at a global standard—both visually and strategically.

Company leadership requested a full website redesign that would feel elegant, refined, and trustworthy, while clearly presenting each service category and reinforcing customer confidence in the brand.

Once the overall direction was approved, I began designing the website layout and visual system. Early layouts and prototypes were presented to stakeholders to communicate structure, page flow, and the overall browsing experience.

During the handoff phase, I collaborated directly with an external development team. Layout files were delivered with clear instructions on animations, page transitions, and interaction behaviors to ensure the final website reflected the intended experience.

Subtle animations and transitions were used to enhance the sense of elegance without overwhelming the content, supporting a smooth and refined browsing experience.

The redesigned website successfully elevated Jalin's digital presence, transforming it into a brand platform that aligns with its long-term vision. The new design strengthens brand positioning, supports marketing efforts, and presents Jalin as a professional fragrance partner ready for international recognition.
